Mastering the Data Paradox

Despite multiple technological advances in the space of data, organizations still struggle to deal with data? Why so?

In a world where data is growing at an explosive rate, organizations are finding themselves overwhelmed with it. Organizations in an attempt to get their arms around all this data are trying to add more technology. However, with 90% of data getting generated in the last 2-3 years, technology has not been able to match up to this unprecedented growth. This is why managing data solely through infrastructure upgrades i.e., physical solutions are not enough. Organizations need to take a more logical approach to better manage the data i.e., through narrowing down the data requirements and focussing on the data they actually need versus all the data they have access to.
